Syllabus
The LLB syllabus covers foundational and advanced areas of law, helping students understand legal principles, procedures and their practical application. Core subjects include Constitutional Law, Jurisprudence, Contract Law, Law of Torts, Evidence Law and Administrative Law.
The three-year LLB programme includes subjects such as Civil Law, Criminal Law, International Law, Labour Law and Taxation Law. Five-year integrated law programmes combine legal studies with subjects from the associated degree, alongside areas such as Environmental Law. The exact curriculum varies by university and programme.
Through these subjects, students develop critical thinking, analytical skills and legal reasoning. Understanding the syllabus helps them organise their studies, identify areas of interest and make informed decisions about future legal specialisations and career paths.
