NITTE Meenakshi Institute of Technology (NMIT Bangalore) is a private engineering institute located in Bengaluru, Karnataka. • Admissions: Admission to NMIT is primarily entrance-based. For BTech admissions, candidates can be considered through Nitte University Common Admission Test (NUCAT) and JEE Main scores. Admission to most other programmes, except PhD, is based on NUCAT or the applicable admission criteria. PhD applicants are required to appear for an online entrance examination, followed by a Personal Interview and Statement of Purpose (SOP) as part of the selection process.

The BTech programme is among the higher-fee courses. • Cutoff: For the General AI category, the KCET 2026 Round 1 closing ranks varied across programmes. The reported range was approximately 12,000 to 1,20,000.
