Overview
M.S. Ramaiah Institute of Management (MSRIM) is part of the Ramaiah Group of Institutions in Bengaluru. Established in 1995 by the Gokula Education Foundation (GEF), the institute is approved by AICTE and offers NBA-accredited programmes. Some of its key highlights are given below:
- Flagship Programme: PGDM is the flagship programme at MSRIM and is available in multiple specialisations. The programme is approved by AICTE, accredited by NBA and recognised by AIU as equivalent to an MBA.
- Admission Criteria: Admission is based on entrance examination scores, followed by a PowerPoint presentation, group discussion and personal interview.
- Accepted Examinations: MSRIM accepts scores from management entrance examinations such as CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, GMAT and ATMA.
- Placements: During the 2025 placement drive, the highest and average salary packages stood at INR 23 LPA and INR 8 LPA, respectively. The institute recorded a placement rate of 94%.
- Top Recruiters: Leading recruiters include Accenture, KPMG, EXL, Tata Group, Amazon, HDFC Bank, Larsen & Toubro, Deloitte India, Aditya Birla Group, Adani Group, Airtel, Flipkart and EY.
- Rankings: According to the Business Today 2025 rankings, the institute was ranked 86th overall, 61st among private business schools, 20th in the South Zone and 7th in Bengaluru.
